Meitorrent does not collect, store, sell, or share personal information, including:

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
• Physical addresses, contacts, or messages
• Photos, payment information, or download/torrent history

No user registration or account creation is required.

Diagnostic Information

To improve application stability and reliability, Meitorrent uses Firebase Crashlytics, a crash reporting service provided by Google.

When a crash or application error occurs, Crashlytics may collect limited technical information, including:

• Device model and Android version
• App version and crash stack traces
• Technical diagnostic logs

This information is used solely to identify, investigate, and fix software issues. For more details, please review Google's Privacy Policy.

2. Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Networking

Meitorrent is a peer-to-peer (P2P) file transfer application that supports torrent files and magnet links.

When actively participating in a torrent transfer:

• Your public IP address may be visible to other peers participating in the same transfer.
• Your device communicates directly with other participating peers.
• File transfers occur directly between participating devices.

This behavior is an inherent technical requirement of peer-to-peer networking and is not controlled by MeiGamingOfficial. We do not operate trackers, host content, proxy file transfers, or monitor file transfers.

3. Local Data Storage

All torrent-related information is stored locally on your device, including:

• Torrent metadata and download progress
• Download locations and downloaded files
• App preferences

This information is not uploaded to our servers. You may remove this information at any time by deleting torrents, clearing application data, or uninstalling the application.

4. Third-Party Services

Firebase Crashlytics

Meitorrent uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash diagnostics and improve application stability. Firebase Crashlytics is operated by Google. Refer to Google Privacy Policy.

No Analytics or Advertising Tracking

Meitorrent does not use behavioral analytics, user tracking, advertising identifiers, marketing SDKs, or usage profiling.

5. Android Permissions

Meitorrent requires certain Android permissions to provide its functionality:

Internet & Network Access

• INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: Connect to peers, trackers, and participate in peer discovery.

Storage and File Management

• MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Read .torrent files selected by the user, save downloaded files, and manage download directories.

Foreground Service

• FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC: Keep active transfers running while the app is in the background and display progress notifications.

Notifications

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Display transfer progress and completion notifications.

Battery Optimization Settings

• Allow uninterrupted transfers while the device is idle.

Device Startup

• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Restart active download services after device reboot.

6. Children's Privacy

Meitorrent is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Data Security

Meitorrent stores torrent-related data locally on your device. While reasonable measures are taken to improve security, no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected by revising the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of Meitorrent after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
